What the L.A. fires hath revealed

Far too much of Los Angeles now sits in ash and rubble. Leaders there are blaming everything from climate change to unmanageable, catastrophic, natural winds. For a movement so convinced that government can do so much to improve our lives, there's a stunning willingness to pretend that these fires were beyond the ability of man to control and manage. What L.A. reveals is the utter failure of the progressive vision.
